Bethlehem United Methodist Church

Established 1866

New Albany

Thomas Braselman was a leader in organizing the church in 1866. After he was killed in the Civil War, a group erected a building, naming it Bethlehem. The Women’s Society raised enough money by serving hunters on the beagle trails to build a new brick building in 1947.
